Matador Paella Frequently Asked Questions
How soon do we have to contact you to book a day and have one of your chefs coming to our event, to cook Paella?
Only 24 hours in advance if available.
Do your prices include the chef to cook the Paella on site?
Live Cook Chef fee is $75 per chef per event.
Are plates, flatware and napkins included?
Disposable is included and upgraded can be rented.
How much space do we need to provide?
Typically only a 10 x 10 relatively level and wind free area. We bring everything and are self-sufficient.
What if it is raining?
Customer can reschedule any Live Cook events at no cost or we can deliver all menu items pre-cooked. Live cook fee will be refunded. Typically we can cook in the rain under our tent.
Do you require any deposits, and how much?
50% of total order at time of signing contract. Customer must finalize final head count 7 days prior to event. Final payment due at time of delivery or event.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. 4% charge added. No charge for checks or cash.
Are deposits refundable?
Yes, if cancellation is 7 days in advance. 25% returned if less than 7 days in advance.
What time does your chef start cooking and how long does he/she stay?
Chef comes 2 hours prior to service time and stays 1 hour after service time.
What’s the minimum amount of persons that you can cook Paella for?
Deliveries $250 and Live Cook $500.
